This is a Scott Edwards 4x20 Serial LCD with Terminal Features, Big-character Mode.� Click here for the manual and specifications.� It offers a terminal-style serial interface with these advanced features:

2400/9600 baud serial input with 64-byte buffer
High-contrast, supertwist LCD screen
Interfaces with the OOPic^� with oLCDSET object
Serially controlled LED backlight
Output for a piezo buzzer that responds to the ASCII bell character
Large-character mode automatically generates 4-line-tall symbols (0-9 and A-Z)
Automatic right-alignment features for easy spreadsheet-style formatting of frequently updated data fields

This is a 5 conductor ribbon cable with female connectors on each end.� It will plug into any Scott Edwards LCD.�� The other end will interface with the Trekker OOPic II Expansion Board or your own pined connector.

Description:

This is a 3 conductor ribbon cable with female connectors on each end.� It will plug into any Scott Edwards LCD.� The connector on the Scott Edwards LCD is 5 pin, but the 5V and ground are repeated, so only 3 pins are needed for operation.� The other end will interface with the OOPic-R.� �
