Tactical Robots, Surveillance Robots, and Military Robot Solutions
Durable tactical and surveillance robots for SWAT, HAZMAT, IED, EOD, Miltiary, Law Enforcement, and many more tactical applications
Hostage negotiation is not necessary, surveillance when staying out of harm’s way is overrated. The war on terrorism is a thing of the past and Homeland security is useless. We never need to clear a room or building before sending officers into a unknown situation. Sending a robot in to check a suspicious package is a waste of time and resources. HAZMAT situations will never occur. No one will use an Improvised Explosive Device in my town. Don’t send a robot in to do a man’s job; it's inconvenient and a waste. Do you agree? We didn't think so.
Unfortunately we don't live an Utopian society. Violence happens. HAZMAT situations happen. Environment catastrophes happen. Let us help.
Our robots are far less expensive than the cost of human life. Designed and built specifically for surveillance, investigation, and negotiation, our robots always keep humans out of harm's way.
"Don't go for a robot that does not meet your needs. Listed below are some of our robots pre-configured robots we offer. All are customizable or we can build from scratch, and since we design, build, test, and support all our the robots under one roof, customization is NOT expensive. Let us know what you think! All of our robots are designed, fabricated, and tested at our facility in North Carolina, USA"..
Thank you, Charlie Payne, CEO SuperDroid Robots, Inc.
An unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) is a vehicle that operates while in contact with the ground and without an onboard human presence. UGVs can be used for many applications where it may be inconvenient, dangerous, or impossible to have a human operator present. Generally, the vehicle will have a set of sensors to observe the environment, and will either autonomously make decisions about its behavior or pass the information to a human operator at a different location who will control the vehicle through teleoperation.
Unmanned robotics are being actively developed for both civilian and military use to perform a variety of dull, dirty, and dangerous activities. Some examples of UGV use are hostage negotiations, bomb diffusing (pipe, pressure cooker, etc) and Hazardous evaluation.
Here are some of the duties our tactical robots have performed:
Mine sweep EOD(Explosive Ordnance Disposal)
IED (Improvised Explosive Device) inspection
HAZMAT - monitoring radiation and toxic gasses
Object manipulation using 3-Axis, 4-Axis, and 6- Axis Arms
Night vision surveillance
Surveillance with multi-channel security cameras
Surveillance from a scissor lift
Security and patrolling
Pressure Cooker Bomb detection
Compact Surveillance Robots
MLT Compact Complete Surveillance Robot
The MLT Complete Surveillance Robot weighs less than 8lbs and is drop resistant up to 10 feet. The treaded design and rear flipper arms allow this robot to climb many obstacles other throwable robots can't touch.
Enclosed treaded robot chassis made from heavy gage aluminum
Robot drop resistant up to 10 feet
IR Camera in nose of robot displaying a color image with ambient light
Flipper Arm/Stabilizer arm can be used to climb over objects up to 10 inches high
The UM4 is a compact robot that is very portable, weighing only 14 pounds. Each of its 4 wheels are driven by a independent powerful gear motor. The system comes with everything you need to go to work, whether its inspecting crawl spaces under houses or providing a first line of defense in tactical situations . The built in infrared camera allows you to see in total darkness, under normal light it’s a high quality color image.
Completely enclosed 4WD robot chassis with integrated pan and tilt camera system
All components carefully placed for optimum spacing and most effective operation
Video is displayed real time on the included 7" wide color LCD
The LT2-F model was qualified during a series of NIST tests that focused on durability, control, and quality. These models include a complete robot with a custom remote, a front tilt camera, and a battery charging station. The LT2 is capable of climbing household stairs and obstacles. For more aggressive stairs and obstacles, the LT2-F should be considered.
Enclosed treaded robot chassis with new integrated flush camera tilt system
Compact design with all components carefully placed for optimum spacing and most effective operation
Our LT2 Robot with multi-axis robotic arm includes the robot, your choice of a controller, battery chargers, and complete assembly and testing. This robot design was developed for law enforcement and military purposes, but can be purchased and used by anyone.
Enclosed treaded robot chassis with new integrated flush camera tilt system
Flipper Arm/Stabilizer arm can be used to climb over objects as tall as the robot is long
The LT2-F can be customized for hostage negotiations
This is our HD2- S with a multi-axis robotic arm. Included with the robot, you get your choice of a controller, battery chargers, and complete assembly and testing. The HD2-S is upfitted with either a 4-axis or 5-axis arm.
We offer many different custom arms. Contact us for different arm configurations, such as position control arms, clutches, more or less axis and/or degrees of freedom. This 4 axis arm includes a shoulder joint that can rotate 180 degrees. An elbow joint that can rotate ~140 degrees, a continuous turn wrist, and a gripper. Each arm axis is directly driven with gear motors with speed control. The arm also includes the necessary controls to control the arm from our controller. When the arm is added, the roll cage is not included and the camera is offset to one side. An optional 5th axis (~300 degree rotating base) can be added to the arm.
SuperDroid Robots has many standard tactical surveillance robots that are routinely used by Police, Fire, Security, SWAT, HAZMAT, etc. We can customize these robots to suit your specific needs. If you require a special manipulator, HAZMAT sensor, size, weight, or any other feature, we specialize in customization. The word customization does not translate to huge costs either. We do everything in house in NC, USA. From the design, machining, metal fabrication and welding, CNC, assembly, testing, etc. An example of this is a robot we completed for the New York City Fire Department. The FDNY approached SuperDroid Robots back in September 2011 and asked us if we wanted to come to NYC to demonstrate our robots. We accepted the invite and went to NY and participated in many tests and trials. Several other robot manufactures were present at the same time. In the end FDNY awarded SuperDroid Robots the contract to build them a customized LT2-F. After completion of the robot, it was brought back to the Maryland NIST facility for acceptance testing and delivered to FDNY along with a day of training on July 30, 2013.

Customized LT2-F for the Orange County Florida Fire Department
Another excellent application of our LT2-F is an order recently placed by the Orange County Florida Fire Department. The LT2-F has been qualified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and has become a favorite among public service personnel. The LT2-F base includes a custom remote, front tilt camera, and battery charging station. With the included Stabilizer Flipper Arms, the robot is capable of climbing over virtually anything as tall as the robot is long. Not only does this robot include a 4-axis arm which allows for better object manipulation but it can also be easily switched out with a pan and tilt 27x optical lens camera. These simple add-ons greatly increase the use of the basic LT2-F platform. Features of this robot include:
This enclosed robot comes complete with motors, motor controllers, batteries, tracks and flipper arms.
Tilting 27x Zoom Camera.
Custom Built Digital Tactical Robot Controller.
The chargers are fully automatic and will charge all the batteries simultaneously.
Easily Removable! 4 bolts and one electrical connector to remove the arm and provide you with a low profile LT2-F or to add the 27x Optical Zoom camera. Add or remove the arm as needed.
Our line of tactical robots are reliable, durable, and flexible. Ranging in sizes and capabilities, our robots are used daily by fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and businesses for HAZMAT, security, heavy lifting, and defense.
