Photo IC 38kHz Infrared Object Detection Kit

This sensor is great for object detection.  It will IC will read a ~0.5VDC (TTL Off) when ever it detects a 38.5kHz IR signal.  When the signal from the IF LED is blocked or does not reflect off an object the IC outputs a ~4.8 VDC (TTL Hi/On) .  The sensor includes the IC, LED, shrink wrap, resistors, and wire to get you going.  For wiring the sensor follow this link.  Example OOPic code is available on our download page.
