This is a Scott Edwards 4x20 Serial LCD with Terminal Features, Big-character Mode.  Click here for the manual and specifications.  It offers a terminal-style serial interface with these advanced features:

  • 2400/9600 baud serial input with 64-byte buffer
  • High-contrast, supertwist LCD screen
  • Interfaces with the OOPic� with oLCDSET object
  • Serially controlled LED backlight
  • Output for a piezo buzzer that responds to the ASCII bell character
