This is a 8 cell (9.6VDC) 1500mAhr Rechargeable NiMH battery pack.  These are used to power the new SuperDroid MCUs on the ATRs and vectoring robots.  They can also have many other uses too.  The are perfect for powering MCUs such as the OOPic. The batteries are NiMH so they do not have the memory issues common with NiCad battery packs.  The batteries are arranged in a 1x8 array of AA batteries interconnected via soldered strips and covered with a PVC wrapping.  Two wire leads extend out of the pack. The battery weighs about 7.4oz and measures approximately 4 1/2" x 2" x 5/8".

As an option you can select to get connectors for the batteries.  The connectors are sometimes referred to as dean connectors.  They can be soldered/crimped onto the wire ends and offer a great way of disconnecting the batteries for charging, etc.

You will not be able to find better prices than this for comparable NiMH battery power!.
