These small IR cameras wirelessly transmit to a receiver that can be plugged into your computer USB or into a TV/VCR with RCA composite feed. These are multi channel receivers and the camera will be either channel 1, 2, 3, or 4. If you order more than one camera package, we will send different channels. If you order 4 camera kits you get 4 camera kits with 4 different camera frequencies and 4 receivers. The receivers have a 4 position switch on them (one for each channel). You can use one receiver and view all 4 cameras by switching between channels on the receiver, or you can use all 4 receivers and have each one tuned to a different channel and watch all 4 cameras at the same time (if using the RCA plugs you would have to have 4 TVs or LCDs or you can use a digital quad processor) (if using a computer you would need 4 USB ports and software to support viewing multiple cameras at once).

Use this camera for extremely low light or no light situations. The Cameras have IR emitters on them for illuminating the room with IR light that is not visible with the human eye. The camera can then view items that are in the dark. We've tested it in total darkness and it views all the detail on a wall 30 feet away. The image is a black/white contrast picture when used in the dark. It also takes excellent color video in well illuminated areas too.

This system includes a Color Camera with Built-in Tiny High Frequency Wireless Transmitter with receiver. The system operates on a 2.4GHz high frequency signal. 2.4Ghz makes a huge difference in the range and quality of video image received, especially when going through ceilings, floors and most walls. In an unobstructed site with no other electrical interference you can expect to clearly transmit up to 300 feet.

Installation is simple and will take less than 3 minutes to set up. No wire to run through the house. No special knowledge is required. Anyone can do it with an ordinary television which has a RCA input.  If needed, the video can be recorded with an ordinary VCR. The RCA output can also plug into your PC if you have a TV card or a USB video capture feature. We also sell LCD monitors that work great with this system.

This miniature camera has a built-in microphone and 2.4Ghz Video & Audio transmitter.  The camera is in a sealed housing, but there is a small hole in the back for the audio and the housing can be unscrewed.  If you plan on putting it outside these should be sealed with some silicone caulk. (do this after testing, because it will void any warranty).  This IR camera measures about 1.72" around and 2.2" deep.  The antenna is about 1.25" long.  The base is about 1.5" from the base to the pivot point along the center line as shown in the figure.  The camera weighs ~3.9 ounces.  The highly sensitive microphone can listen in a room over 300 square ft.  This miniature camera can send video & audio powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell/Energizer) or the supplied AC-DC Adaptor.  The camera can also be powered by one of our 8V Lithium battery packs.  The power RCA type of plug on the cameras should not be cut off! You should splice the 9V battery plug to your alternate battery to connect to the camera. It is important not to over volt the camera/transmitter for proper performance. We found it works great on anything above 7VDC, but should be less than 10VDC.

The receiver can be powered by a 12V battery or one of the supplied AC-DC adapters.
