After building many custom WiFi control packages for robots, we have combined the most common control requests and come up with this standard package. This package is intended to be placed on any SuperDroid Robot chassis. We tailor it to fit your selected motor controllers and robot. This package is also intended for robot kits that we are assembling (i.e. you selected the assembly option when purchasing your robot)

The package includes the following:

• Linksys WET200 Wireless G Business Ethernet Bridge. We use one of the 5 ports. Leaving 4 other ports available for your other IP equipment such as IP cameras, etc.
• iPocket232 RS232 to Ethernet Converter. We use this to link the WiFi bridge to the custom control board. The custom program we supply links via a virtual serial port to control and monitor the robot.
• Custom Control Board. This is a microcontroller board that we have designed. We have made a bunch of these boards and are continuously improving on them. With each revision we keep making improvements and adding features. The board controls any of our motor controllers. It also controls a pan and tilt servo to very precise positioning, additional servos can be controller for a small additional cost if needed. The board monitors the robots voltages, current (if a power distribution and current monitoring board is part of your robot), it reads up to 4 TTL inputs and controls 4 relays via our relay board, has RS232 and TTL serial output to communicate with the iPocket232.
• Switching power supplies. This includes the necessary power to power all the electronics from the 24V batteries. It regulates the power to 5V and 6V (for any servos).
• Customized VB6 program. This program is used to control and monitor the robot. The robot can be controlled with the mouse or via the supplied USB gamepad controller. We provide the source code if you desire to make any changes. The code is customized to your robot and controllers.
• All the necessary network cables, antenna cables/extensions, terminal blocks, fuses, wiring, mounting hardware, etc.
