This is our ATR kit all assembled and programmed. The robot is 4WD and is controlled from a PC using a WiFi connection. The robot also has a IP camera mounted on a pan and tilt system so you can see where you are going and look all around. The pan goes more than 360 degrees and the tilt is -10 to +45 degrees.
The WiFi Custom Control Interface Package - TE-900-002 includes the program, gamepad controller, WiFi Bridge, Ethernet converter, control board, programming, etc so you can drive the robot using your gamepad controller. The pan and tilt are part of the custom robot (not part of the camera) so the control of the camera pan and tilt is also performed with the gamepad controller. Of course you can just use your mouse to control the robot too if you don't want to use the gamepad controls. If you set up your router with port forwarding, you can control and monitor your robot from anywhere that has internet access with your program.
The robot itself is an extremely rugged well built robot. The wheels are axle mounted and are supported using sealed ball bearings. The motors allow this robot to climb walls. This is a rugged frame made of 1/8" thick aluminum and includes our IG32P gear motors. The aluminum is all laser cut for an exact fit-up and then hand welded and polished.
The base is 12.25" wide x 17.25" long. Note, these dimensions do not include weld filler, which adds a little to the overall dimensions. As configured it has a ground clearance of about 2 5/16". The width with the wheels is about 21" and the length is about 21.5".

These robots are built to order. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
Options and Upgrades:
As shown the robot has the optional paint job and optional LED lights. The following options can be purchased with the robot.
Upgrade the IG32P 24VDC 190 RPM Gear Motors to four IG42 24VDC 252 RPM Gear Motor - TD-016-252. This upgrade will result in the base being 2" wider than using the standard IG32P gear motors. As a further upgrade to this we can upgrade the front two motors to have encoders and add encoder reading to the WiFi Robot controller so you can monitor how far the robot has traveled (less any wheel slippage).
Upgrade the batteries. The two 12V batteries are wired in series. With this upgrade you will get two 24V batteries wired in parallel. This upgrade will also include another 24V Smart Charger. If you are going to upgrade the motors to IG42, it is strongly recommended that you also upgrade the batteries too.
Sandblast and Paint the Robot Chassis. This upgrade will include sandblasting and painting the robot chassis. The chassis is wire brushed aluminum as a standard item, which will not rust. If you select this option we will sandblast the chassis and aluminum parts and paint them. This option will also include a vacuum formed plastic shroud to cover the Wireless Bridge.
LED lights: This option includes two LED lights mounted on the top of the camera. The lights will follow the camera with the pan and tilt. The lights will be wired to a control relay that is part of the the WiFi Custom Control Interface Package.
Roll Cage. The Roll Cage upgrade will include a roll cage and top cover mounted to the robot. The roll cage will protect the camera in the event of a roll over.
