BuiltWorlds, a community of change leaders in the worlds of buildings & infrastructure, released their 2024 Annual Report on Construction Tools, Equipment, and Robotics which included SuperDroid Robots in their list of Top 50 Construction Robotics Companies. The list focused on legacy and emerging robotics companies with solutions utilized on construction jobsites. It was “derived from a combination of the 2024 Tools, Equipment, and Robotics Survey data, direct industry research, member conversations & feedback, and case studies.”
The 2024 [Construction] Robotics 50 List is part of BuiltWorlds’ ongoing work to develop and share “objective, non-biased research to Real Estate and AECO professionals as it relates to construction and infrastructure technology.”
SuperDroid Robots has several robots used in construction including:
- Groundhog Pro & Groundhog Standard – affordable autonomous reality capture robots that automatically scan a construction jobsite, collecting 360° footage for progress monitoring.
- HK100 & HK1500 – material handling robots for moving construction materials and tools from laydown yards to staging areas or following tradespeople autonomously.
- GPK-32 – tracked and wheeled options for inspecting confined spaces such as crawlspaces and air ducts
- GPK-32 Tracked with Light Ring – quickly and safely inspect drop ceilings with a 360° camera from a single access point
- GPK-32 4WD with Mast – a remote controlled option for reality capture that allows the operator to stay out of 360° images and capture an area quicker than walking it.
- LT2-F-W – a tethered watertight robot for inspecting culverts, sewers, and dark, damp areas.
