Hi Trent, we only sell a 10 tooth dshaft sprocket because it is the one we use most often in our robot kits:
I’m not aware of anyone else who is selling them. We can make them custom but it would be quite expensive since we’d have to pay for…[Read more]

Hi Jesse. Are you able to see any printouts from the code you attached? Also, after briefly looking into the Teensy 3.2, it seems the logic voltage is 3.3 Volts. You probably should step this up to 5 Volts using one of our level shifting boards to interface with the Kangaroo.

The mapping really depends how the values are applied in the Arduino code.
SuperDroid replied to the topic Spektrum Setup for RC Override in the forum Electrical & Controls 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Okay. It sounds like you just need to remap the mode switch on the transmitter side to what ever channel pin A14 is connected to on the receiver. If that doesn’t work, printout the input values from the receiver in the Arduino serial monitor while flipping the switch on the transmitter.
SuperDroid replied to the topic Spektrum Setup for RC Override in the forum Electrical & Controls 7 months, 3 weeks ago
If the remote was reset then you might have to remap the mode switch to the correct receiver output. Does the robot still drive when the switch is on “mode 1”? I’m guessing you can still drive because the Arduino assumes mode 0 on startup. I might be a good idea to code a printout of the receiver PWM values in the Arduino source to see what’s going on.

We had tons of problems with the arduino regulator, since we decided to do it this way we haven’t had problems.
SuperDroid replied to the topic Mecanum Wheel Arduino code in the forum Electrical & Controls 8 months, 3 weeks ago
The code use a arduino pin to power the rc receiver, but that is not necessary for the updated schematic. The 12V regulator us often to power relays, and if you use a different type of motor controller.

Hi Daniel
Are you looking at the GitHub code or code for a specific order? It’s most likely to supply power to the receiver if there is no SDR Arduino Mega shield involved. In this case, we power the Arduino with the 5V output from the Sabertooth and use a digital for the receiver. We have found the voltage regulators coming off the Arduino…[Read more]

Hi it looks like there has been some confusion in the questions and answers. What you are trying to do is really difficult and will require a lot of fabrication for steering and a lot of electrical work for the control. In this situation we would probably bypass the scooter electronics all together. You could keep the batteries but would need…[Read more]
SuperDroid replied to the topic RC brushless motor control question in the forum Electrical & Controls 9 months, 2 weeks ago
I’m not familiar with the motor controller you linked but it seems it would be much easier to connect the output of your Spektrum receiver to a Sabertooth or RoboteQ motor controller. While in RC mode, they calculate the mixing for you and can be adjusted in the firmware settings. If you need something other than a RC output, then I would…[Read more]
