SuperDroid Robots is looking for a mechanical engineer. The application of this experience will be to help build out custom products for a variety of customers to include commercial, law enforcement, government, and university research.
This position consists of design and fabrication of production and custom mobile robotic platforms, robotic arms, and related products. “Hands-on” experience is a must. Applicant must be able to problem solve and complete tasks independently with aggressive schedule constraints. Although we do not expect individuals to have all the skills below, experience with many is preferred.

Specific Skills
Mechanical Engineer
- Mechanical design and assembly skills. "Hands-on" experience is a must.
- Strong background using Fusion360 for designing/solid modeling mechanical assemblies and parts.
- Robot design experience.
- Statics, Dynamics, and Kinematics experience.
Preferred
Beneficial Skills
- Forming and molding.
- Thermal dynamics, fluid dynamics, strength-of-material, and FEA experience.
- Lathe, mill, CNC operation skills/experience.
- CNC programming and integration from drawing files.
- Electrical wiring including design, schematics, soldering, crimping, termination, etc. (DC low voltage systems and control).
- ROS2
