This compact 2.4 GHz Omni-directional "Rubber-Duck" WiFi antenna provides broad coverage and 2 dBi gain. It is a coaxial sleeve design with an Omni-directional pattern. It is ideally suited for IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g wireless LANs, Bluetooth® and other WLAN applications.
Only 3.13" long, this flexible antenna features a rigid reverse-polarity SMA plug connector for rigid upright installations on equipment. It is suitable as a replacement antenna for many access points and wireless equipment that feature reverse-polarity SMA connectors. The connector is crimped and soldered for excellent performance and low loss (Note this RF antenna is used as a "replacement" or "OEM" antenna rather than a "range extender" antenna). The antenna will achieve excellent range in most installations when the antenna is vertically positioned.
