This is a spare or replacement modem for your Indoor GPS System (Indoor Positioning System (IPS)).

The router is the central controller of the indoor GPS system which calculates the position of a mobile beacon (“hedgehog”) 16 times per second based on data from the beacons. They communicate via USB with the dashboard and with the beacons wirelessly in ISM band.
