This is custom wheeled All Terrain Robot (ATR) that was designed for heavy payloads and to navigate rough terrain. It is intended for remote outdoor surveillance and it is equipped with a PTZ camera, sweeping sonars for obstacle detection, 2-way audio, and GPS that allows the robot to be driven from a map. The robot can also be programmed to follow specific routines using GPS. It is controlled by a high powered wireless system with a repeater for extending the range. It includes a charging station that allows the user to remotely dock and charge the robot’s batteries.
