The DB15 Breakout Board is designed for use with Roboteq Motor Controllers. The board uses 2.54mm (0.1") male headers for the inputs. The breakout board has inputs for two encoders, two RC inputs, Rx and Tx for TTL serial communication, and a CAN connection between multiple Roboteq units. The four solder jumpers connect the quadrature encoder A and B pins to 1k pull-up resistors. Un-bridge these jumper connections if your encoder setup does not require pullup resistors.
This is a breakout board for the ST485E tranceiver IC. The ST485 can convert a TTL signal from a microcontroller, such as an Arduino, to RS485.
