Mining robots can vary from robots that assist in excavation, to robotic devices with camera systems that detect gasses and other materials. Most importantly, mining robots can be used to keep humans out of harm's way. This is essential when scanning abonded mines and other mining grounds that are not safe for people. We have built many reliable mining robots and are capable of developing a solution for most mining needs.
Examples of Radiological, Survey, and Inspection Robots
Robot for Abandoned Mine
This is a robot that was built for a mining company to drive into abandoned mineshafts to search for potash leftover from years ago. SuperDroid Robots built the platform to carry camera equipment and an array of other sensors to get feedback from underground. The platform was waterproof up to 50 feet.

Robot Dropped into Mineshaft
This robot was built to be sent down a mine shaft. This was a low cost platform that could be abandoned at the bottom of the mine when the inspection was completed. We outfitted it with a pan and tilt camera, lights and a fiber optic spool.

Robot to Assist Miners
This is a robot platform that was used to drive down a mine shaft in front of miners with a 5 foot tall post carrying sensors. Simple, Rugged, Reliable.
