A video was uploaded on YouTube about the strength of the molded track tension

Those are continuous track at a specific length, and don’t necessarily have a weaker point in the track such as a track splice. For my custom project I will be using the “All Terrain Reinforced 4 Inch Wide Tread”. The problem/question is, what is the load/tension strength of the “All Terrain Reinforced 4 Inch Wide Tread” along with the “4 inch Alligator Lacing/Track Splice”?

The track length really does not matter for overall strength, just the amount it will flex. The reason we went to generation 4 tracks is because it does NOT have a splice. We can make the tracks to custom lengths too. If you want to use the continuous length track and a alligator splice, that is fine too. The splice will be the weak point. We do not have exact data on when it will pull apart, but it will if overloaded. We never had the splice pull apart on our HD2 under normal operation even when pulling a F250 truck. The times it would pull apart is when a bunch of snow or dirt would pack in the tracks and the tension got too high and we kept driving and pushing it too hard…
