Smart Charger for 19.2V - 24V NiMH and NiCad Features:
  • Universal Fast and Smart Charger is designed for charging any 19.2V - 24V NiMH and NiCd Battery Packs with capacity > 1500mAh (16-20 Cell packs)
  • It is a very smart charger. Just plug it in and wait for the battery to get charge.
  • 100-240V AC input for worldwide use.
  • The charger cuts off power Automatically by negative delta V IC when the battery pack is fully charged.
  • Protection fuse for over current, short circuit & reverse polarity protection.
  • Battery will be charged at 1.5A constant current
  • Charging time can be estimated as the follows:
    • Charging time ( Hrs ) = 1.2x Battery capacity ( Ah) / 1.5
    • For 3 Ah battery pack, charging time is about 2.5 hrs.
    • For 13Ah battery pack, charging time is about 10 hrs.

Dimensions:

Accessories included:
  • One standard Tamiya male connector installed with the charger.
  • One set connector adaptor from female tamiya to Clips is included for charging any battery pack.
  • One temperature sensor (70 C thermister) is included for battery packs that don't have thermostat protection. It must be connected between battery charger and the battery pack before charging to protect battery from overcharging. It will cut-off power if battery temperature is over 70 C
  • How to use Temperature sensor:
    1. Autonomous Robot KitsAttach temperature sensor to battery pack inside firmly --- you can use electronic tape or glue to attach the sensor to the battery's surface
    2. Plug (red, BEC ) connector into the temperature socket into the charger

Precautions:

  • Please don't use the 19.2V-24V charger for charging battery packs with voltage <19.2V or voltage >24V and capacity <1500 mAh
  • The charger is designed for indoor use only.
  • Battery pack must be made by high drain current cell.
  • Please contact your seller for any damage and consequent damage by misuse
  • The charger should be horizontally positioned and works in well ventilated conditions, avoid wet and keep it away from flammable explosive goods.
  • Don't cover the charger when charging. ambient temperature shall not be more than 40 degree C.
  • Cut off the power supply before connect or disconnect the charger with batteries. Also make sure battery polarity is connected correctly
  • Don't try to disassemble the charger high voltage inside, danger!
