Use this camera for extremely low light or no light situations. The Cameras have IR emitters on them for illuminating the room with IR light that is not visible with the human eye. The camera can then view items that are in the dark. We've tested it in total darkness and can it views all the detail on a wall 30 feet away. The image is a black/white contrast picture when used in the dark. It also takes excellent color video in well illuminated areas too.

These are multi channel receivers and the IR camera will be either channel 1, 2, 3, or 4. If you order more than one camera package, we will send different channels. If you order 4 camera kits you get 4 camera kits with 4 different camera frequencies and 4 receivers. The receivers have a 4 position switch on them (one for each channel). You can use one receiver and view all 4 cameras by switching between channels on the receiver, or you can use all 4 receivers and have each one tuned to a different channel and watch all 4 cameras at the same time (provided you have 4 TVs or LCDs or you can use a digital quad processor).  This system can be used with the 1.2Ghz cameras if you require an additional 4 cameras that will not interfere with one another, yielding 8 channels!

This system includes a Color Camera with Built-in Tiny High Frequency Wireless Transmitter with receiver. The system operates on a 2.4GHz high frequency signal. 2.4Ghz makes a huge difference in the range and quality of video image received, especially when going through ceilings, floors and most walls. In an unobstructed site with no other electrical interference you can expect to clearly transmit up to 300 feet.

The video and audio is transmitted at 2.4GHz. It is NOT sent via regular UHF TV band (Like Ch59) transmission to a channel on your TV. These cameras are NTSC Versions (United States Standards). Installation is simple and will take less than 3 minutes to set up. No wire to run through the house. No special knowledge is required. Anyone can do it with an ordinary television which has a RCA input. If needed, the video can be recorded with an ordinary VCR. The RCA output can also plug into your PC if you have a TV card or a USB video capture feature. We also sell LCD monitors that work great with this system.

This miniature camera has a built-in microphone and 2.4Ghz Video & Audio transmitter. This IR camera measures about 1.72" around and 2.2" deep.  The antenna is about 1.25" long.  The base is about 1.5" from the base to the pivot point along the center line as shown in the figure.  The highly sensitive microphone can listen in a room over 300 square ft. The equipment is perfect for body worn covert applications. This miniature camera can send video & audio powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell/Energizer) or the supplied AC-DC Adaptor. The camera can also be powered by one of our 7.2V NiMH battery packs. The power RCA type of plug on the cameras should not be cut off! You should splice the 9V battery plug to your alternate battery to connect to the camera. It is important not to over volt the camera/transmitter for proper performance. We found it works great on anything above 7VDC, but should be less than 10VDC.

The receiver can be powered by a 12V battery or one of the supplied AC-DC adapters.
