Assembled Trekker Line Following Kit - 4 sensors

This package includes 4 QRB1134 IR sensors to detect lines.  It also includes a bracket to attach the sensors to the Trekker.  The assembly cost is half price for this unit.

When the sensors are mounted about 0.2" above the floor they will read a reflection off of a white surface and won't get a reflection off of a black line about 0.25" wide or more.  The OOPic or other Microprocessor can be programmed to respond to the sensor readings to keep the robot on track.  The line following sensors can also be used in for autonomous sumo wrestling too to let the robot know when its being pushed out of the ring.  Two of the sensors can also be used with the Trekker wheel encoder package to keep track of how far the robot has gone.
