These wheels provide the following:
� --> Allows navigation over rougher terrain
� --> The larger drive wheels allow the trekker to drive faster
� --> Adds to the Trekker's appearance.�
The kit includes Large 4.5" 1" wide durable foam tires for the drive wheels and multi directional 2" plastic omni-wheels for use as casters.�
These are an available upgrade on all our robot kits.� The upgrade replaces the 3.5" foam wheels.� The upgrade can only be applied at time of purchase to a Trekker Chassis.� The ball wheels are still included with the upgrade so you can use either wheel as a rear caster.
Please note, the plastic omni wheels make more noise than the ball wheels on hard surfaces.� |
