Description:

This All Terrain Robot (ATR) is designed and fabricated in North Carolina USA and fully supported by SuperDroid Robots, an industry leader in robotics. This is a 2WD robot that uses our IG32 motors and our 6 inch wheels. It uses our motor mount tubes to mount two IG32 motors and a single ball bearing to take most of the load off of the motor shaft. An single omni wheel serves a the caster/idler wheel in the rear of the robot. The robot uses differential steering (movement is based on two separately driven wheels placed on either side of the robot body. If you change to a different motor voltage, be sure you select the correct batteries and motor controllers. The weight of the robot, its capacity, speed, etc. depend on how the robot is configured. The item details of the options listed below will specify weights, sizes, etc. The lower RPM motors have lower speed, but more torque for easier turning. The default options listed below are what we recommend as a good starting point. Contact us if you need help selecting options or need custom configuration.

*These are standard items that are required. They are checked and grayed out indicating that they are not optional and cannot be unchecked

*These are the standard included items for this robot kit, please leave all of them selected unless you are sure you do not need them

*The chassis will support any of our IG32 or IG42 (75RPM and above) gear motors with or without encoders listed below. We recommend the IG32P or IG42 gear motors.

*Any of the listed motor controllers will work, however the chassis is designed with predrilled holes for our PWM motor controllers. See our support page for help selecting the correct motor controller.

*The chassis is designed to hold two 7Ahr sealed lead acid batteries or the K2 12.8V 9.6Ahr LiFePO4 Battery Packs, but if desired you can use your own batteries and mounting hardware.

*Select whether or not you would like to purchase battery brackets for your selected batteries

*Select this option if you want us to include an appropriate charging system with your selected robot batteries

*Choose if you would like an upper deck for more room to mount electronics

*This robot comes in kit form. If desired you can select the option for us to assemble it.
