This robot kit consists of the 2WD Robot Chassis and provides all the necessary parts to turn the robot chassis into a operational robot. For details about the chassis, see the 2WD Robot Chassis item page. The robot is shown assembled with optional battery and mounts, PWM motor controllers, and IG32P 190 RPM motors.

The robot kits comes with the following:

• 2WD Robot Chassis
• Power Switch, switch bracket, fuse blocks, terminal block, wire

Options for this robot kit:

• Drive Motors: The chassis will support any of our IG32 or IG42 (75RPM and above) gear motors with or without encoders listed below. The smaller IG32 gear motors are not recommended for carpet or if run at 12V. We recommend the IG32P or IG42 gear motors.
• Motor Controllers. Any of the listed motor controllers will work, however the chassis is designed with predrilled holes for our PWM motor controllers.
• Upper Deck. The upper deck option includes the upper deck and spacers to mount a mezzanine level on your robot chassis.
• Batteries: The chassis is designed for the listed 7Ahr sealed lead acid batteries, but if desired you can use your own batteries
• Pan and Tilt on a mast: This includes a pan and tilt system mounted in a 1 5/8 tube about 12 inches high off the caster deck to support a light weight camera and/or sensor (<6 oz). The pan is controlled with a geared down sail winch servo to yield 360+ degrees of rotation and the tilt is directly driven with a standard servo for ~120 degrees of tilt. The mast is welded to the caster rear bracket and will protrude through and above the upper deck. A picture of the pan and tilt mast can be seen in this image, but does not include the camera or lights.
• Assembly: This robot comes as a kit, but you can opt for us to assemble it for you if desired. The assembly will include all electrical and mechanical assembly.
