This is our LT2 Tracked Surveillance Robot with a multi-axis robotic arm. This robot package is complete including the robot, your choice of a controller, battery chargers, and complete assembly and testing. The pictured robot has a 4-axis arm, along with an optional IR camera mounted on the arm (available below).

This robot design was developed for Law Enforcement and Military purposes, but can be purchased and used by anyone.

Included:

• The LT2 with multi-axis arm has all the features of the LT2 Tracked Surveillance Robot with the addition of an arm.
• The LT2 is up-fitted with a 4-axis arm.
• The Direct Drive 4 Axis Arm has the following features:
  • The shoulder rotates 180 degrees with limit switches to stop its travel.
  • The elbow travels about 140 degrees with limit switches to stop the travel.
  • The wrist is continuous rotation.
  • The gripper can open up to 5.5 inches.
  • All the axis have speed control.
• The arm can lift 15+ pounds fully extended.
• The robot and arm weigh around 60-65 lbs depending on options selected

Smart Chargers:

• Multiple chargers mounted on one bracket. The chargers are for the 24V motor batteries, 12V video/control battery, and 12V control console battery.
• The chargers are fully automatic and will charge all the batteries simultaneously.
• Chargers are included in a case for easy storage and operation.

Tactical Remote Selection:

• We offer many Remotes. Depending on budget and how you plan on using the robot you can choose the right remote.
• The Remotes we sell include the video battery for the robot as well as the remote. We use a 11.1V Lithium Ion 5Ahr battery in the robot for a video run time of up to 8 hours. All remotes made 2012 and later also include a 11.1V Lithium Ion 5Ahr battery.

Camera Selection:

• Front Nose Camera
  • Embedded Nose Tilt 27X Zoom Camera
    • This camera system is mounted in the nose of the LT
    • It has 180 degrees of tilt
    • It has a High Resolution day and night 27X optical zoom camera.
    • The tilt and zoom are controlled with the remotes listed above
  • Embedded Nose Tilt IR Camera
    • This camera system is mounted in the nose of the LT
    • It has a High Resolution day and night IR camera.
    • The tilt is controlled with the remotes listed above.
• Additional Camera Options
  • IR Camera Mounted on forearm.
    • This optional camera can be selected and mounted on the forearm of the robot for a different perspective of what you are picking up with the manipulator.
    • It has a High Resolution day and night IR camera mounted on a bracket.
    • If selected the controls will be included to switch between the cameras with the remotes listed above.
  • IR Camera Mounted on forearm and fixed rear IR camera.
    • This optional camera can be selected and mounted on the forearm of the robot for a different perspective of what you are picking up with the manipulator.
    • The forearm has a High Resolution day and night IR camera mounted on a bracket.
    • The rear camera is a Wide View Color Infra Red Camera with 7 IR LEDs for viewing when backing up.
    • If selected the controls will be included to switch between the cameras with the remotes listed above.

Available Options:

Listed below are standard options, additions, and/or upgrades that are offered with the robot kit. Contact us if you desire further customization. See our data sheet for details and pricing of the options.

• Robot Microphone (for Audio from Robot to Remote). This add-on installs a microphone on the robot. The microphone is a high quality microphone that is meant for listening to large areas. The microphone will be mounted to the robot and the audio will be transmitted back with the video transmitter via the audio channel. The audio will be broadcast real time on the 7" Color LCD. Volume of the audio can be adjusted on the 7" monitor. The gain, etc of the microphone is set up on the microphone on the robot.
• PA System (for Audio from Remote to the Robot). This add-on allows the user to use a hand held radio to broadcast to the robot through a loud speaker PA system. Using this option along with the above microphone allows 2 way communication between the remote users and the robot.
• Additional Customization Options: This robot can be further customized in myriad ways, including alteration of control systems to make the robot capable of more advanced functionality such as position control and inclusion of clutches with position memory (allows the arm to slip if too much force is applied, then return to its prior position as soon as the pressure is released). It can also be customized to operate on WiFi, Zigbee, tethered, etc. If you would like to customize this robot in this way or in any other way, please contact us to set up your custom order.
