SuperDroid Robots COVID-19 Update

SuperDroid Robots is Open and Accepting Orders.

Last updated June 17, 2021.

How is the virus going to affect my order?

At SuperDroid Robots Inc., our commitment is to the safety of our employees and clients, the stability of our services, and our social consideration to the greater community. To us, this means ensuring our business is equipped to continue managing your interests so that you can have confidence in the months ahead. As the effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are closely monitoring the situation, complying with public health guidance, and taking measures to protect our customers and employees. Since the situation is very fluid, we will update this page as the situation changes.

We want to assure you that we are still open for business, however, we are only allowing orders that are placed by internet or phone (absolutely NO retail/in-store purchases). We will bring all local pickup orders out for curbside pickup when you arrive. All technical support will be virtual. We are not allowing any on-site customers or sales visits at this time. Access to our facility has been limited to our EMPLOYEES ONLY. These changes are put in place to avoid propagation of the coronavirus. These restrictions will remain in effect until at least April 30, 2021.

When will my order ship?

SuperDroid Robots remains fully operational. We are fulfilling all orders and service requests. All orders placed online will be fulfilled. Our inventory will remain live. If an item is not available, it will be listed as out of stock. Built to order items will be built in the time frame listed on the item page. We will strive to complete custom items such that they will ship within the time specified on the quotation. Please review our standard terms for full details.

When will out of stock parts be back in stock?

We are beginning to experience some supply chain issues. However, our inventory will remain live. If an item is not available, it will be listed as out of stock. As always, we do not allow backorders. You can contact us for estimated restock times, but due to high demand, limited resources, fulfillment of critical vendors, etc. many out of stock items do not have an estimated restock time until the COVID-19 crisis passes. Rest assured, we are trying everything in our power to get stock or find equivalents.

How long will it take to be delivered?

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak and measures imposed by governments around the world, there are currently unavoidable service impacts on outbound shipments that are beyond our control. All shipping methods may experience delays. A signature will not be required for any shipment unless requested by the customer. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

What is SuperDroid Robots doing to help?

As stated above, we have restricted access to our facility. We have suspended all work-related travel. We have been constantly sanitizing our facility and preaching the guidelines set forth by the CDC to keep our workplace safe. We are primarily engineers and technicians, so social distancing is our specialty. Our employees are dedicated to adhering to the best practices to reduce the spread of the virus. Many first responders and medical facilities depend on our robots, parts, and services so that they can have the necessary tools to fight the virus and help heal victims. They are working tirelessly to fight this pandemic and so shall we!

The nature of our work requires us to produce physical things. We pride ourselves in our ability to manufacture the vast majority of our products in-house. This allows us to produce our products quickly to meet our customers’ demanding schedules. We rely heavily on our in-house machining and fabricating capabilities as well as our PCB assembly machines. Unfortunately, this work cannot be done remotely. We supply our solutions when we work together at our state-of-the-art facility in North Carolina with our incredible engineers, technicians, and support staff.

We are largely an online store, so we have very low exposure to the public. Our employees are continuing to support and supply orders for our customers, first responders, and medical facilities.

We ask for your patience while we work through this evolving situation. We are focusing our efforts on ensuring that our services remain uninterrupted, and everyone remains safe. If there is an unavoidable interruption (be that the activation of our off-site work plan, or a Government directive) we will respond as thoroughly, professionally and safely as possible, and will make every endeavor to minimize the impact to our services and customers.
