Features and Specifications
- Large 4.5" x 1" wide durable foam tires for the drive wheels and multi directional 2" plastic omni-wheels for use as casters.
These are an available upgrade on all our robot kits. The upgrade replaces the 3.5" foam wheels. The upgrade can only be applied at time of purchase to a Trekker Chassis. The ball wheels are still included with the upgrade so you can use either wheel as a rear caster.
The plastic omni wheels make more noise than the ball wheels on hard surfaces.
These wheels provide the following:
- Allows navigation over rougher terrain
- The larger drive wheels allow the trekker to drive faster
- Adds to the Trekker's appearance.
