This is a bidirectional level shifter used to step down or up signals from 1.8V to 5V range. You can send signals each way and is going to auto detect the direction. Each level converter has the capability of converting 4 pins on the high side to 4 pins on the low side with two inputs and two outputs provided for each side.

The level converter is very easy to use. The board can be used for I2C, UART, SIM Card, SPI, etc.. To use this board connect the LV to the low voltage you are using and the HV to high voltage you are going to use. If you want to convert from 1.8V to 3.3V connect 1.8V to LV and 3.3V to HV, and then connect up to 4 lower voltage signals to LV1, LV2.. and your high voltage signal to HV1, HV2..
