Description:

This a single axle for our 13" tiller tires. The hub is welded to a steel 3/4" diameter shaft with a standard 3/16" keyway. It is intended to be chain driven. We use this shaft on our snow plow along with 3/4" pillow block bearings.

These wheels and shafts work great with our wheel chair motors. To calculate the speed of the robot just take the output RPM * wheel diameter (in inches) * 3.14 / 12 = feet per minute.

Options:

You can add a machine key for coupling sprockets to the shafts. There are two options for keys listed, a 0.75" long key and a 1.0" key. We use the 0.75" key with a #35 15 tooth sprocket and we use the 1.0" key with a #40 18 tooth sprocket.
