This system includes a Color Camera with Built-in Tiny High Frequency Wireless Transmitter with receiver. The system operates on a 2.4Ghz high frequency signal. 2.4GHz makes a huge difference in the range and quality of video image received, especially when going through ceilings, floors and most walls.�� In an unobstructed site with no other electrical interference you can expect to clearly transmit over 500 feet. This system can be used with the 1.2Ghz cameras if you require two cameras that will not interfere with one another.

The video is transmitted at 2.4GHz. It is NOT sent via regular UHF TV band (Like Ch59) transmission to a channel on your TV. These cameras are NTSC Versions (United States Standards). Installation is simple and will take less than 3 minutes to set up. No wire to run through the house. No special knowledge is required. Anyone can do it with an ordinary television which has a RCA input. If needed, the video can be recorded with an ordinary VCR. The RCA output can also plug into your PC if you have a TV card or a USB video capture feature.� We also sell LCD monitors that work great with this system.

The miniature camera is a 200mW high power 2.4 GHz video camera system (4 times 50mw). This camera does not have audio, so it actually requires less current to run than the audio version. This miniature camera can send video powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell/Energizer) or the provided 8V AC-DC adaptor. The camera can also be powered by one of our 7.2V NiCad battery packs (the ends just need to be spliced to adapt to the camera).� It is important not to over volt the camera/transmitter for proper performance. We found it works great on anything above 7VDC, but should be less than 10VDC.� This miniature camera can send video for a couple of� hours non-stop if powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery.��

The receiver can be powered by the provided AC-DC adaptor with 9-volt DC. This receiver also does not require fine tuning (ie the receiver locks onto the signal).� The 1.2GHz cameras have a fine tuning knob that requires tuning to get a good signal.�
