Trekker Robot Kits

SuperDroid Trekkers are robot kits that can be purchased in many different configurations. It is an excellent education product to learn about microcontrollers, electronics, robotic navigation, etc.� It can be built the way you want it using sensors such as Infrared (IR), Ultrasonics, compass, encoders, flame detection, and limit switches.� The Trekker can also be equipped with an LCD.� The IR and Ultrasonic sensors can be put on servos to allow a very large (up to 360 degree) viewing area.� The Robot Kits are set up to put the favorite components together and offer a discount compared to buying the components individually.

	SuperDroid Trekker Navigator Plus.� This kit adds a bumper switch and sweeping scanner to the Standard Trekker Navigator.� You can program it to steer around obstacles and resume its course.
	SuperDroid Trekker Navigator Full.� This is a great kit to demonstrate how to use an electronic compass and encoders to position your robot.� You can program it to steer around obstacles and resume its course.
	SuperDroid Trekker Fire Seeker.� This starts you on the way to autonomously fighting fires, a growing interest amongst robot hobbyists.� You can program the Trekker to search for a fire and alarm when it finds and reaches the flame..
	SuperDroid Trekker Fire Fighter.� This robot autonomously fighting fires, a growing interest amongst robot hobbyists.� You can program the Trekker to search for a fire and alarm when it finds and reaches the flame.� With the Fan the Trekker will blow out the candle (commonly used in fire fighting contests).� The Kit also includes encoders for keeping track of the distance traveled.
	SuperDroid Trekker Ball Catcher.� This kit seeks out a ball and fetches it.� Its sensors allow it to know when it has caught the ball.
