- Camera Pan and Tilt System
- Small Compact Design
- Two servo control
- Trekker IR and Trekker Ultrasonic Sensors can be mounted with options bracket.
Add Pan and Tilt capabilities to your camera. This system consists of two servos and the necessary brackets and hardware to allow you to pan and tilt your camera. The panning servo is a standard servo that will mount into any of the Trekker scanner brackets. The tilt servo is a nice compact subminiature servo, which results in a low profile system. Watch this video (~400kb), (~850kb), (~1.1Mb) to see the range of motion of the camera. The servos can be controlled with a standard RC controller or using a PIC. They will plug into any of the 5 servo expansion plugs on the Trekker OOPic II/II+ expansion board. You can set it up with a program that continuously monitors the entire area with one camera as it pans and tilts
around.

An optional scanner bracket can be added to let you determine the distance to an object the camera is looking at. A single scanner bracket will support either a Trekker IR or Trekker Ultrasonic Sensor. The dual bracket will support both the Trekker IR and Trekker Ultrasonic Sensors (as shown in picture above).

This comes as a kit that requires minimal mechanical assembly. A small screwdriver and pair of small pliers is required. Follow this link for assembly instructions (~250kBytes).
