This package consists of the compass mast and bracket, electronic compass, and the necessary hardware.� It also includes the wire and receptacles to attach it to the OOPic II Expansion Board v2.x or above or the parallel programming port on either the OOPic R or OOPic II.�

If you are going to connect to the OOPic II Expansion Board v2.x or above a 4 receptacle is included.� If you want to connect the sensor to the program port on the OOPic-R or OOPic II/II+ a 5 pin receptacle is included.
The bracket is made from laser cut acrylic and it mounts to a nylon mast.� The hardware that mounts the electronic compass to the bracket is also nylon.� The non-metallic materials are used to keep the sensitive electronics away from any metal and electronic noise that will influence the readings.��� The sensor will allow the robot know which way it's heading.
