This package includes 4 QRB1134 IR sensors to detect lines.� It also includes a bracket with all the necessary hardware to attach the sensors to the Trekker.� The receptacle and crimps are also included for attaching the sensors the the OOPic II Expansion Board (v2.x and above only).�

When the sensors are mounted about 0.2" above the floor they will read a reflection off of a white surface and won't get a reflection off of a black line about 0.25" wide or more.� The OOPic or other Microprocessor can be programmed to respond to the sensor readings to keep the robot on track.� The line following sensors can also be used in for autonomous sumo wrestling too to let the robot know when its being pushed out of the ring.� Two of the sensors can also be used with the Trekker wheel encoder package to keep track of how far the robot has gone.
