Description:

Autonomous Robot KitsThis Trekker package is lots of fun. You can program it to turn to a specific heading and then drive a set distance while maintaining the heading. It uses the Trekker Electronic Compass Kit to determine its heading and using the Trekker Wheel Encoder Kit it will keep track of how far the wheels have traveled. With an optional Trekker IR Scanner mounted on the front of the Trekker will stop when an obstacle gets in its line of site. You can then expand the program to get around obstacles and resume its coarse. As with all Trekker Kits this one can be expanded later by adding additional sensors, LCDs, etc., which will all plug directly into the OOPic II Expansion Board.

Example code and the Trekker Navigator and instructions are included on our Trekker download page. A video Trekker Navigator is on our video page.
