These large ATR wheels are 6.75" in diameter. They come as pair since they have directional tread.�� This item also includes a custom machine shaft with a hex nut that locks into the wheel hub and a mounting bolt.� The shaft also comes with a bearing that mounts into the large gear motor housing and the standard gear motor housing.� Also included are shaft collars for locking the wheel in place and onto the motor.� The shaft is made of Aluminum, but has a steel insert so the threads will not strip as easily.

Because these wheels are larger in diameter, you robot will run faster, but have less power.� These wheels work great with all our gear motors.� The smaller motors will struggle a little, our medium motors work great, and with the our largest gearmotors they will climb virtually anything.� To calculate the speed of the robot just take the output RPM * wheel diameter (in inches) * 3.14 / 12 = feet per minute.

The shaft is bored with a either a 4mm, 6mm or 8mm hole for mounting onto the gear motor shaft. The The smaller motors and medium motors are 6mm shafts and the large motors is 8mm. The 4mm is reserved for those who have their own motors.� It is possible to enlarge it yourself, but we recommend using a lathe so make sure the hole stays concentric.�
