What is a “task”?

Tasks are scoped units of work sized to be comparable in effort. Larger objectives are broken into tasks so progress, risk, and deliverables are clear and trackable.

What do I receive at the end of a task?

A deliverable appropriate to the work: design files, code, manufacturing drawings, screenshots, or a short report — whatever demonstrates the outcome.

How do pause and cancel work?

Pausing keeps your project context active and includes time for us to stay familiar, so we can resume quickly without re-planning. Canceling ends the engagement; if you restart later, we begin with a fresh planning task.

Is this only for brand-new robots?

No. Use it for net-new development, semi-custom work on our platforms, or targeted expert help across mechanical, electrical, firmware, ROS, Python, UI/WebRTC, and more.

How is turnaround and communication handled?

Each tier defines task turnaround expectations, how many tasks can run concurrently, and response windows for communication, so you always know when to expect updates.

What about payment?

Subscriptions are billed monthly (via Stripe). You can upgrade, pause, or cancel to match your project’s pace.

How are hardware/device costs discounted?

If your scope includes building one or more robots or developing on a device (for example a compute module, controller, sensor, or prototype chassis), the plan’s discount is applied against the normal price for that item. We’ll provide an itemized estimate and obtain your approval before any purchase or fabrication. Discounts: Basic 10%, Standard 20%, Pro 30%.
